Zimmermann meets Hall of Famer Aaron in Atlanta

ATLANTA -- Before Monday's game against the Braves, Nationals right-hander Jordan Zimmermann had the pleasure of meeting Hall of Famer Hank Aaron at Turner Field.

Zimmermann introduced himself to the baseball great, shook his hand and was able to get a picture taken with him.

"I ran back in the clubhouse, got a ball and he signed a ball for me. It was pretty neat," Zimmermann said. "It was pretty special. But I think taking the ball home and having my dad and grandpa see it, will be more special. I'm very thankful to have it."

After the conversation ended, Aaron said to Zimmermann, "Good luck the rest of the way. You guys are fun to watch."
