Omaha Storm Chasers (5-5)

Omaha dropped to 1-1 at Nashville. Veteran Brett Tomko (five innings, seven hits, three earned runs) held the Sounds scoreless over his final three frames. Matt Fields singled and has hit safely in all 10 games (.459, 17-for-37). He has surpassed his longest hitting streak of 2013 (nine games) and is one shy of his career high, set in 2008 with Vero Beach. Brett Eibner and Brian Fletcher each drove in a run.

NW Arkansas Naturals (2-7)

The Naturals were swept in a three-game set, their sixth straight loss. Parker Morin was 3-for-4 with a double and a run for Northwest Arkansas. Justin Trapp hit a solo homer and Lane Adams posted two hits, including a triple. The RoughRiders hit four home runs, with two by Rougned Odor, who was 4-for-6 with three RBIs and four runs scored.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (4-5)

Wilmington pitchers posted a second straight shutout vs. Winston-Salem. Christian Binford earned his first win in Class A Advanced, striking out 10 while holding the Dash to two hits over seven innings. He has fanned 16, walked none and held opponents to a pair of unearned runs over 12 innings. Zeb Sneed struck out three while allowing one hit over the final two innings. Cam Gallagher doubled home Daniel Rockett for Wilmington's first run. Rockett led Wilmington with two hits.

Lexington moved to 3-0 in a four-game road set. Chad Johnson tied the game with an RBI double in the fifth, then scored on Dominque Taylor's double. Jose Miguel Rodriguez held the Power to a run, four hits and a walk over five innings. Luis Santos earned the save, fanning five over four scoreless innings.
