Omaha dropped its fifth straight game and has scored a total of one run in its last 40 innings. J.C. Sulbaran made his first start at Werner Park, and he allowed only two hits and no runs over six innings. The Storm Chasers combined for four hits, all singles.

NW Arkansas Naturals (56-58)

San Antonio 4, NW Arkansas 2

HR: None

The Naturals lost the series opener to San Antonio, committing three errors. Pounders tossed 5 2/3 innings of three-run ball, only one of which was earned. Jorge Bonifacio went 3-for-4 with two doubles.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (53-61)

WP: Estarlin Cordero (4-2)
HR: None

It took 12 innings, but the Blue Rocks were able to snap the longest losing streak in franchise history. Jack Lopez (2-for-4) delivered the game-winning hit with a walk-off single. Zach Lavvorn threw six innings for Wilmington, allowing seven hits and one run. Humberto Arteaga produced the only other multihit game, going 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Lexington Legends (48-63)

Charleston 9, Lexington 0
LP: Scott Blewett (2-5)
HR: None

Charleston starter Joey Maher and two relievers combined for 16 strikeouts and a five-hit shutout of Lexington. Blewett worked only three innings and allowed five runs. Anderson Miller produced two of the Legends' five hits.

Idaho Falls Chukars (22-28)

HR: None

The Chukars evened up the series at one game apiece on Tuesday. The win improved Idaho Falls' record to a league-best 9-3 in the second half. Daniel Concepcion started the game, allowing three runs over 4 2/3 innings. Davis earned the win, tossing 3 1/3 innings without a run. Roman Collins went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Burlington Royals (22-25)

Kingsport 10, Burlington 4
LP: Enmanuel Camacho (1-3)
HR: Brandon Thomasson (6), Colton Frabasilio (3)

The Royals committed three errors, falling to Kingsport by six runs. Camacho worked only 3 1/3 innings and allowed five runs over six hits. Ben Johnson recorded a pair of hits for Burlington, a triple and a double.

Surprise Royals (32-9)

Suprise 4, AZL Mariners 1
WP: Eric Kimber (1-0)
HR: Leland Clemmons (5)

Clemons' go-ahead three-run blast in the seventh inning provided the offense Burlington needed to win. Kimber came in for starter Bryan Brickhouse and tossed two scoreless to collect the win. Seven of the nine Royals batters recorded one hit apiece.
