Omaha Storm Chasers (73-59)

Omaha took the series last night with the help of Alex Gordon and Jose Martinez. Gordon went 1-for-3 with a RBI and is now 5-for-15 in his four rehab starts. Jose Martinez recorded his 13th multi-hit game in 15 games and is batting .525 (31-for-59) in that stretch. He remains on pace to break the previous PCL batting record (.383 by Rick Short in 2005). J.C. Sulbaran earned the win for Omaha, tossing 5.2 scoreless innings.

NW Arkansas Naturals (63-64)

NW Arkansas 5, Springfield 3
WP: Matt Murray (6-3)
SV: Mark Peterson (#2)
HR: None

Jorge Bonifacio drove a two-out RBI single up the middle to give the Naturals a 5-3 lead in the seventh. He ended the day 3-for-4 with a double as the Naturals were able to hold on and win after Mark Peterson closed the game. Frank Schwindel collected the only other multi-hit game with a pair of knocks.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (58-70)

SV: Luis Rico (#4)
HR: Ryan O'Hearn (#7)

Wilmington blanked Carolina last night after a stellar performance by starter Alec Mills. Mills worked 6.2 scoreless frames, allowing only four hits. Luis Rico earned the save after tossing 2.1 shutout innings. Ryan O'Hearn belted a two-run shot in the eighth, his seventh of the year.

Lexington Legends (53-73)

Rome 13, Lexington 9
LP: Colin Rodgers (3-10)
HR: Austin Bailey (#2), Alexis Rivera (#2), Chase Vallot (#10), Brandon Downes (#13)

Rome scored six runs in the ninth inning to come back and defeat the Legends. Despite the loss, Lexington still had a solid day on offense, belting four home runs. Luis Valenzuela went 4-for-5 in the game and is now batting a team-leading .344 in 195 at-bats.

Idaho Falls Chukars (31-31)

Ogden 5, Idaho Falls 1
LP: Carter Hop (0-3)
HR: Kyle Pollock (#4)

Ogden starter, Jairo Pacheco, shut the Chukars out for six innings and allowed four hits. Idaho Falls produced only five hits in total, two of them from Amalani Fukofuka. Carter Hope had a rough outing, working 5.1 frames and giving up five runs.

Burlington Royals (28-34)

Burlington 4, Danville 3
WP: Julio Pinto (3-2)
SV: Jake Kalish (#1)
HR: None

Julio Pinto earned the save for Burlington, throwing 4.0 innings and striking out eight batters. The eight strikeouts are a season-high for any Royals pitcher. Jose Martinez picked up two of Burlington's four RBI without recording a hit.

Surprise Royals (37-16)

Surprise 5, AZL Rangers 2
WP: Arnaldo Herandez (7-3)
SV: Kyle Kubat (#3)
HR: None

Arnaldo Hernandez and Kyle Kubat held the Rangers to only two runs, earning the win. Kubat has an ERA of 0.76 in 35.1 frames. The offense was led by Leland Clemmons who recorded a pair of knocks and two RBI.
