Omaha Storm Chasers (29-28)

The Storm Chasers lost a back-and-forth game in their return to Werner Park. Reymond Fuentes was 2-for-5 with a triple, three RBI and a run. Whit Merrifield posted two hits, two walks, two runs and a stolen base while Paulo Orlando finished 3-for-5 with an RBI. Colorado Springs scored seven runs (three earned) during John Lamb's 5.0 innings. Lamb took a no decision after winning his previous three starts.

NW Arkansas Naturals (32-21)

Northwest Arkansas lost a heartbreaker as Duanel Jones led off the bottom of the 10th with a walk-off home run. Zane Evans went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI. He's batting .317 (13-for-41) since being promoted from Wilmington. Mike Bianucci added two hits with Lane Adams, Kenny Diekroeger and Hunter Dozier each scoring a run. Jonathan Dziedzic (5.0 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 0 SO) made the start and Mark Peterson tossed 3.0 scoreless innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (32-23)

Wilmington 9, Frederick 3

Wilmington won a fifth consecutive game, moving to 3-0 in a four-game series. 2013 second-rounder Cody Reed held the Keys to an unearned run over 6.0 innings, scattering six hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Frank Schwindel led the 12-hit attack, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs. Carlos Garcia, Dex Kjerstad and Logan Moon recorded two RBI apiece.

Lexington Legends (25-31)

Lexington 13, Augusta 7

HR: None

Lexington rallied with seven runs in the ninth to overtake Augusta. Alfredo Escalera was 3-for-5 with two RBI and three runs. Humberto Arteaga added two hits, two RBI and two runs. 2012 first-rounder Kyle Zimmer pitched a perfect sixth, giving him 4.2 scoreless innings over three appearances.
