Konerko back in lineup as Ventura shuffles order

SEATTLE -- After missing parts of two games with a stiff neck, Paul Konerko returned to the White Sox starting lineup on Monday. He was hitting fourth behind Alex Rios and in front of Dayan Viciedo, with Adam Dunn dropping to sixth against left-handed starter Joe Saunders.

"More of a matchup thing with having Viciedo behind Paulie and Paulie behind Rios," White Sox manager Robin Ventura said of Dunn's lineup spot. "Either way, it is what it is. That's where he's at."

With Gordon Beckham back in action, Jeff Keppinger got the start at third base against Saunders with Conor Gillaspie on the bench. Ventura said that matchup situations work well with both Keppinger and Gillaspie because they can move around the field.
