Dixon, Scavuzzo, Trinkwon also slated for Desert Dogs; pitchers to be named

LOS ANGELES -- Four Dodgers farmhands on Tuesday were named to the roster of the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League. In addition, the club has four pitching slots on the roster still to be named.

Named to the roster of the Desert Dogs -- who will be managed by Bill Haselman, manager of the Dodgers' Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga affiliate -- were catcher Kyle Farmer, infielders Brandon Dixon and Brandon Trinkwon and outfielder Jacob Scavuzzo.

Farmer, Dixon and Trinkwon are currently with Double-A Tulsa, while Scavuzzo is with Rancho Cucamonga. Trinkwon is on the taxi squad.
