• Before and during Monday's 1:10 p.m. CT game between the Brewers and Twins, the teams will celebrate Memorial Day by honoring those who serve and have served with a series of pregame events at Miller Park.

A "mass first pitch" will be thrown by 40 active members of the military, veterans and military dependents to Brewers and Twins players prior to the game. Color Guards from the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force will also participate in the pregame ceremonies, and Staff Sergeant Korin Saal will perform the national anthem.

The Brewers will wear Memorial Day caps and jerseys featuring a Desert Camo design, and at 3 p.m., the game will pause for a moment of silence with all of MLB in the National Moment of Remembrance.

• The Brewers on Sunday were making travel arrangements for left-hander Chris Narveson, who is scheduled to begin a Minor League rehabilitation assignment with Nashville on Thursday at home against Iowa.

If that two-inning outing goes well, Narveson would start again five days later -- on June 4 at Round Rock. He has been on the disabled list since the first week of April with a sprained ligament in his left finger.

• To make room for Hand on the full 40-man roster, the Brewers shifted right-hander Mark Rogers to the 60-day disabled list. Assistant general manager Gord Ash said he had no new information on Rogers, who is back in Phoenix trying to build strength in his right shoulder.

Rogers' Minor League rehab assignment was cut short earlier this month when he felt discomfort in his arm, but an MRI scan revealed no definitive answers.
