Wily Peralta's eight-inning masterpiece on Friday did more than just give Brewers an impressive win -- it gave the bullpen the exact amount of rest it needed to get back on track.

"It's nice to have them all down there ready to go," manager Ron Roenicke said.

Tom Gorzelanny, still recovering from offseason left shoulder surgery, has been throwing off the mound, but his velocity is nowhere near where it needs to be to start thinking about a return to the team.

Francisco Rodriguez logged career save No. 318 on Friday, tying Rick Aguilera for 17th on the all-time Major League list. Up next is Todd Jones (319). K-Rod's 13 saves in March/April tied a Major League record shared with Kazuhiro Sasaki, who logged 13 saves for the Mariners in 2001.
