Mariners announce spring training roster moves
Spring training roster reduced to 51 players
Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves at the Mariners Major League spring camp Sunday morning.
Optioned to AAA TACOMA (3):
Left-handed Pitchers (2): Danny Hultzen, Mike Kickham
Outfielder (1): Julio Morban
Re-Assigned to Minor League Camp (7):
Right-handed Pitcher (3): Sam Gaviglio, Stephen Landazuri, Forrest Snow
Catcher (3): Steven Baron, Mike Dowd, Tyler Marlette
Outfielder (1): Jordy Lara
In addition, Marcus Littlewood, who had been on extended loan, has returned to minor league camp.
Today's roster moves leave the Mariners with 51 players in their Major League camp: 37 roster players and 14 non-roster invitees.
