Mariners conclude opening homestand against White Sox

Ichiro Bobblehead Night, Salute to Armed Forces Day and Little League Day highlight weekend promotions.

THE SETUP: The Mariners are set to conclude their 10-day, 9-game opening homestand with three games against the Chicago White Sox at Safeco Field beginning Friday with right-hander Hector Noesi on the mound. THIS WEEKEND: The Chicago White Sox arrive in town for a three-game series beginning tonight and bring with them Everett native and University of Washington alum Brent Lillibridge.

  • Mariners Care Silent Auction: Every Saturday home game the Seattle Mariners will be hosting a Silent Auction to benefit Mariners Care. Select memorabilia including autographed baseballs, game-used bats, autographed jerseys worn in the Mariners TV commercials and other items. Go to Section 128 to participate.
  • Kitchen Catcher. The first 10,000 fans pick up a Mariners “Kitchen Catcher” to collect food scraps and other compostable items in the kitchen. Presented by BASF, EcoSafe & Seattle Public Utilities.
  • Salute to Armed Forces Day - Military Coin. The Mariners are proud to recognize the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. The afternoon will feature a special pre-game ceremony beginning at 12:30 pm. Current and former members of the U.S. military receive special discounts. Following the game, 20,000 fans will take home a commemorative Mariners military coin courtesy of Boeing.

SUNDAY, APRIL 22 VS. WHITE SOX – 1:10 PM

  • Little League Day - Mariners Drawstring Backpack. The Mariners are proud to salute Little Leaguers throughout the Northwest. All kids 14 and under take home a Mariners drawstring backpack. Little Leaguers can participate in a special pre-game parade on field. The parade starts at 11:30. Little Leaguers and their families can access the field at the Right Field ramp near Section 114.
