Lilek, White among Marlins' 7 Draft signings

Club also inks Poteet, Jacome, Rivas, McKay and Britt; Naylor expected shortly

NEW YORK -- The Marlins remain aggressive in locking up their 2015 Draft picks. On Thursday, they announced seven more selections have been signed, including second-rounder Brett Lilek and third-round choice Isaiah White.

Of their picks in the top 10 rounds, eight are now under contract. The team has yet to sign first baseman Josh Naylor, the 12th pick, but that is expected sometime next week.

Along with Lilek, a left-hander from Arizona State, and White, a center fielder from Greenfield School in North Carolina, the Marlins also announced that right-hander Cody Poteet (fourth round), left-hander Justin Jacome (fifth), right-hander Kelvin Rivas (10th), right-hander Ryan McKay (11th) and right-hander Curt Britt (19th) now are under contract.

MLB.com has learned Lilek's bonus is $1 million, which was $196,000 under slot. And White signed for slot at $698,100.

Naylor, who turns 18 on Monday, technically is not allowed to sign until he graduates from St. Joan of Arc High in Ontario, Canada, on June 25. The Marlins are expected to sign the left-handed-hitting slugger shortly after that day.

Miami now has reached deals with 27 of its 40 selections.
