Marlins Park Set To Host Three Exhibition Games March 5-7

The Team will host a Columbus–Belen Game and Face-off against UM and FIU

Marlins Park is set to host three exhibition games on March 5-7.  The first ever baseball game to be played at Marlins Park will feature Christopher Columbus High School and Belen Jesuit Preparatory School on Monday, March 5. The High School game will be limited to a total capacity of 5,000.

On Tuesday, March 6, the Miami Marlins will play against the University of Miami. The game will have a 10,000 fan capacity. On Wednesday, March 7, the Marlins will take on FIU and a total of 15,000 tickets will be sold for this game.  The first pitch for all three games is set for 7:10 P.M.  Single game tickets to the UM and FIU games will go on-sale January 27 at 10:00 A.M. at marlins.com.
 
Marlins Park, currently 93% complete, is scheduled to host its first regular season game on April 4, 2012 when the Marlins take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10 P.M. Single Game Tickets for the inaugural season at Marlins Park will not be available until early March.  Currently, only Full Season, 41 and 20-Game Ticket Packages are on sale.   All Marlins Season Ticket Plans include the opportunity to purchase Opening Night tickets (while quantities last) and on-site garage parking.
 
The Marlins will also be hosting the New York Yankees at Marlins Park in two exhibition games, April 1-2, 2012. The games against the New York Yankees will take place on April 1 at 1:10 P.M. and April 2 at 7:10 P.M. Tickets to these games will be available in February.
