Marlins unveil ticket special tied to Giancarlo Stanton's Home Run Derby total

Major League Baseball's Home Run Derby tonight at 8 p.m.

Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton will be one of five National League players participating in the Home Run Derby tonight at 8 p.m. at Target Field. In support of Stanton's participation in the Derby, the Marlins are introducing a special ticket offer for Marlins fans in which they will receive $1 off Lexus Legend Platinum seating for every home run hit by Stanton tonight. The offer is valid for up to 25 home runs hit, with a maximum of four tickets per transaction. Fans can begin purchasing tickets with the discount tomorrow beginning at 12 p.m. at Marlins.com/Stanton.

Stanton, who is tied with Troy Tulowitzki for the most home runs in the NL, will be the fourth player in Marlins history to participate in the Home Run Derby. The past Marlins to participate were Hanley Ramirez in 2010, Dan Uggla in 2008 and Miguel Cabrera in 2006. Stanton was nominated to participate in the Home Run Derby in 2012, but had to withdraw due to an injury.
