McCartney to return to Fenway for July show

Legendary musician Paul McCartney will return to Fenway Park on Tuesday, July 9, as part of his 2013 "Out There" tour.

The trip will be McCartney's first to Fenway since his two August shows in 2009 set a record for the highest two-day concert attendance in the ballpark's history.

The show in Boston is McCartney's first confirmed date in the U.S. in 2013. Tickets go on sale on Friday, but American Express card members have the opportunity to purchase tickets on Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET.

McCartney will play songs from his entire career -- including his time with the Beatles, Wings and as a solo artist.
