DePaoli offers three messages to Mets fans on Presidents' Day

As the nation celebrates Presidents' Day on Monday, MLB.com asked the presidents or high-ranking cabinet members of all 30 Major League clubs to give three messages to their fan bases. Executive vice president and chief revenue officer Lou DePaoli offered the following on behalf of the Mets:

• "Popularity of weekend-focused promotions have helped to drive ticket sales up 19 percent this year to date -- led by a strong increase in season ticket sales. We are coming off of a season where we had an uptick in attendance.

• "... Our fans are excited about our players and -- like everyone in the organization -- share the same passion about returning to the postseason.

• "... Amenities to enhance fan experience in 2015 include a new 13HD main scoreboard that will be 62 percent larger, along with other new LED boards, new ballpark dimensions and a more unique variety of food offerings."
