Trout, Hamilton bobbleheads highlight Halos' promos

ANAHEIM -- The Angels unveiled their promotional calendar for the 2014 season on Tuesday, with giveaways that include Mike Trout and Josh Hamilton bobbleheads.

Trout's bobblehead will be given away on Tuesday, April 1, against the Mariners -- representing the second game of the regular season -- and Hamilton's will be distributed May 2, prior to a Friday night game against the Rangers.

The Angels will also give away gnomes depicting Albert Pujols (May 20), Jered Weaver (June 6) and Trout (July 18), plus a Pujols fleece blanket (April 15) and a "Cowboy Rally Monkey" (July 8).

For a June 25 game against the Twins, the Angels will attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the fifth consecutive season. This one will be for the largest gathering of people wearing Santa hats, which the team will distribute at the gate. The Angels have previously set world records for the largest gathering of people wearing fleece blankets (2010), costume masks (2011), cowboy hats (2012) and wigs (2013).

Postgame fireworks will move to Saturday night home games, replacing "Big Bang Friday." Family Sundays will return, with kids ages 5 to 12 allowed to run the bases after games at Angel Stadium.

The full schedule, with 24 promotional giveaways, can be found at angels.com/promotions.
