Moustakas drops to fifth spot vs. lefty Happ

KANSAS CITY -- Third baseman Mike Moustakas has gotten off to a slow start -- batting .194 going into Friday night's game against Toronto, but manager Ned Yost wasn't real concerned.

"Moose will get it going, I'm not worried about Moose," Yost said. "We're scoring runs and winning games. I'm not worried about all that stuff."

With a left-hander, J.A. Happ, starting for the Blue Jays, Yost dropped Moustakas down one spot in the batting order, from fourth to fifth.

Yost also used Happ's start as an opportunity to put two right-handed bats in the lineup, switch-hitting Elliot Johnson at second base and Miguel Tejada at first. They replaced left-handed-hitting regulars, Chris Getz and Eric Hosmer.

"We're looking to get Elliot and Tejada some at-bats and it was a good day to do it," Yost said.
