Nationals tab Henley as next third-base coach

WASHINGTON -- The Nationals have decided that Bobby Henley will be the team's third-base coach, replacing Trent Jewett.

Henley was the team's Minor League field coordinator the past four seasons, and he's been in the organization for 10 years. He has Minor League managing experience, including the Nats' Class A Potomac and Savannah clubs, as well as the Gulf Coast League Expos.

The Nationals have had three third-base coaches in the last three years. Bo Porter coached third in 2012 before he left to manage the Astros. Jewett replaced Porter in 2013, before going to Seattle this offseason to become the bench coach.
