Navarro to disabled list

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have placed catcher DIONER NAVARRO on the 15-day disabled list backdated to April 22 with a strained left hamstring and have recalled catcher JOSH THOLE from Buffalo of the International League (AAA).

THOLE, 28, has appeared in eight games for the Bisons this season posting a .269 batting average with three RBI. The 6-1, 205 lb. left-handed hitter is a career .251 hitter over six Major League seasons with eight home runs and 102 runs batted in.

NAVARRO, 31, has posted a .267 average in eight games this season with two doubles and four RBI.
