Nolan Ryan to host Japanese restaurateurs at Minute Maid Park
Press conference to take place on Friday, August 29
HOUSTON, TX - On Friday, August 29, Astros Executive Advisor Nolan Ryan will host several Japanese restaurateurs and winners of a Nolan Ryan Beef promotion for a press conference prior to the 7:10 p.m. game between the Astros and Texas Rangers.
Yakiniku Den Restaurants, a Japanese-style BBQ restaurant chain headquartered in Osaka, Japan, recently completed a major promotion of Nolan Ryan Beef in their restaurants in Japan. The winners of this promotion, along with the restaurant managers, will be traveling to Houston to meet Nolan Ryan and attend Friday night's ballgame as Ryan's special guests.
A press conference is scheduled to take place before the 7:10 p.m. contest in the Astros press conference room. Joining Nolan Ryan will be CEO of the US Meat Export Federation Phil Seng, Yakiniku Den executives and restaurant managers, ICON - AGRI executives, supermarket buyers and ten Japanese consumers. ICON-AGRI is a Nolan Ryan Beef import company in Japan.
