On Presidents' Day, Schlesinger offers 3 messages to fans

MILWAUKEE -- For Presidents' Day, MLB.com surveyed each of baseball's chief executives and asked for the three messages they most wanted to pass along to their fan base as Spring Training camps prepare to open in Florida and Arizona.

Here is Brewers COO Rick Schlesinger's response:

• "We have great optimism for 2015. This is a team that led baseball's toughest division for 150 days last season, and we have a nice mix of young and experienced talent. We addressed a key need at first base by acquiring Adam Lind, added some exciting young players to the roster, and look for improved health with Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez. It looks like the NL Central will once again be among baseball's elite divisions, but we like our chances."

• "One of [owner] Mark Attanasio's Brand Promises is to deliver the best fan experience possible. We look at Miller Park as being the best ballpark in baseball, and our pledge to the fans is that we'll always look for opportunities to improve the facility from year to year. In 2015, the Selig Experience will bring one of the most unique features ever to a Major League stadium, and we look forward to unveiling that sometime in the summer months. We also focus on fan surveys and focus groups, as they are our ultimate report card. So it's not only the entertainment elements at the ballpark, we also know that our food and beverage offerings need to continue changing with our customers' tastes. We're excited to not only bring two great local restaurants into the mix this year [Smoke Shack and Holey Moley], but also to offer some creative new options through our concessionaire, Sportservice. Plus, we'll have improved WiFi for better connectivity and several other upgrades to the facility."

• "Nobody will work harder than our ownership and front-office staff to bring a consistently compelling experience to the fans. The fans consistently over-deliver in their support of the team, and we never take that for granted. We will always strive to be better, and that includes everything from the team on the field, the entertainment experience in Miller Park, the promotions and All Fan Giveaways, our work in the community and so much more. At every turn, we'll always strive to be best in class."
