Gonzalez comes off DL, to start DH for O's

The Orioles reinstated right-hander Miguel Gonzalez from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday, and he will start Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Blue Jays after his originally scheduled start Tuesday night was rained out.

Gonzalez, 31, was placed on the DL on Sept. 4 (retroactive to Aug. 31) with right shoulder tendinitis.

In 25 starts (141 innings) for Baltimore this season, Gonzalez is 9-11 with a 4.85 ERA and eight quality starts. Over 100 career games (94 starts) spanning four Major League seasons, he is 39-32 with a 3.79 ERA.
