Brown day to day, experiencing back spasms

PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown left Saturday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers in the top of the seventh inning with mid-back spasms and is listed as day to day.

"It was the first-at bat. I don't even know what swing it was," Brown said. "It just tightened up on me, and it started getting a little bit worse, so Ryno [manager Ryne Sandberg] decided to take me out of the ballgame."

Brown was visibly in pain as he struck out on a foul tip to end his day in the sixth. He finished 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts.

"I'll come in tomorrow, see how I feel," Brown said. "I'm not trying to miss too many days for sure."
