Owings to start at short in D-backs' opener

SYDNEY -- There were no surprises as D-backs manager Kirk Gibson unveiled his starting lineup for Saturday's regular-season opener against the Dodgers.

Gibson had already said Chris Owings would start Saturday's opener at shortstop and Didi Gregorius will get the nod there Sunday.

The starting lineup will be A.J. Pollock (CF), Aaron Hill (2B), Paul Goldschmidt (1B), Martin Prado (3B), Mark Trumbo (LF), Miguel Montero (C), Owings (SS), Gerardo Parra (RF) and Wade Miley (P).
