Padres Option Six To Minors and Reassign Two To Minor League Camp

Club currently has 48 players at Major League Spring Training

PEORIA, AZ – The San Diego Padres today announced that they have optioned outfielder Blake Tekotte to Triple-A Tucson, left-handed pitchers Juan Oramas and Jose De Paula, right-handed pitcher Erik Hamren and infielder Edinson Rincon to Double-A San Antonio and outfielder Rymer Liriano to Single-A Lake Elsinore. In addition, the club has reassigned left-handed pitcher Robbie Erlin and catcher Jason Hagerty to minor league camp. Executive Vice President/General Manager Josh Byrnes made the announcement.
