Pedroia slam confirmed after umpire review

BOSTON -- Dustin Pedroia's sixth-inning grand slam was confirmed at Fenway Park on Friday after a crew chief review.

The umpires chose to review possible fan interference on the ball Pedroia hit over the Green Monster, but the call was confirmed to give the Red Sox a 6-1 lead.

The grand slam doubled as Pedroia's 100th career home run.
