Pettitte to lead rotation coming out of break

NEW YORK -- The Yankees have set their pitching rotation coming out of the All-Star break, lining up Andy Pettitte, Hiroki Kuroda and CC Sabathia to take the mound for a three-game series at Fenway Park against the Red Sox.

That series, New York's first trip of the year to Boston, begins on Friday.

Girardi said his thought process considered "just when their last start was, trying to keep guys with days off in a sense. Making sure CC got a couple extra, Kuroda got a couple extra, Andy got a couple extra."
