Phillies activate Manship, option Rosenberg

MILWAUKEE -- The Phillies made a couple roster moves following Tuesday night's 9-7 victory over the Brewers at Miller Park.

They optioned right-hander B.J. Rosenberg to Triple-A Lehigh Valley and activated right-hander Jeff Manship from the 15-day disabled list.

Manship had been on the DL since June 1 with a strained right quadriceps. He is 1-1 with a 5.89 ERA in 16 appearances this season. Rosenberg is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA in 13 appearances.
