Final Days to Bid on Once-in-A Lifetime Experiences at Phillies Charities "The Phantastic Auction"

SportsRadio 94WIP & Talk Radio 1210 WPHT to highlight auction items

Ever want to have a round of golf with Hall of Famer Steve Carlton… have a private on-field dinner party at Citizens Bank Park … host a Fantasy League Draft in the Phillies Draft Room … have a kid's sleepover in the Phillies Clubhouse… or have a private hitting clinic with Chase Utley?

These are all once-in-a life time opportunities now available to fans during an exclusive Phantastic Auction on phillies.com. There is only one week left to this online event, which gives fans nation-wide the chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Phillies players and alumni, trips, memorabilia and many other unique opportunities.

And the best part: it's all to benefit charity.

The full list of 50 Phantastic Auction experiences run the gamut and feature something for every fan. Items include clinics, golf outings and dinners with Hall of Famers, MVPs, and All-Stars.

The Phantastic Auction is in partnership with SportsRadio 94WIP and Talk Radio 1210 WPHT. Fans are encouraged to tune in to these stations during this final week, as Phillies special guests highlight many of the auction items. Among the guests are Hall of Famers Steve Carlton, who will on 1210 WPHT (Wednesday, May 13, at 4:00 p.m.) and  Mike Schmidt, who will be on 94WIP's morning show (Thursday, May 14, at 9:30 a.m.).

Last year's inaugural Phantastic Auction raised nearly $160,000 for Phillies Charities, Inc., which was awarded to charitable organizations across the region.

PROCEEDS FROM THE PHANTASTIC AUCTION

The Phillies family - from the players, coaches, and their wives, to the alumni, ballgirls and front office staff - takes great pride in giving back to the community. Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Phillies organization, makes gifts to charitable organizations that serve a wide variety of needs, primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and particularly those serving the Greater Philadelphia area and the communities of its minor league affiliates.

The net proceeds from The Phantastic Auction will benefit Phillies Charities, Inc., and a portion of those proceeds will be contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association as part of the Phillies Phestival on June 1, 2015.
