Pirates and Starkist announce new partnership for 2015

As part of the deal, fans to have the opportunity to win a one-day Major League contract with the Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced a partnership with North Shore neighbors, StarKist for the 2015 Major League Baseball season. An element of the agreement includes the StarKist "Win a Major League Contract for a day" promotion giving Pirates fans an opportunity to be a big leaguer for a day.

The exciting promotion will offer fans a chance to be an official member of the Pirates for one day this upcoming season as the prize includes a one-day player contract and many unique opportunities. Specific details for registration will be available soon.

In addition to the promotion, the Pirates will provide StarKist with rotational signage behind home plate at PNC Park, and StarKist will be a guest on Federal Street on several dates to contribute to the game day experience before Pirates home games.
