Popular "You Score as the Bucs Score" Promotion to Return

The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the return of the "You Score as the Bucs Score" promotion, offering fans the opportunity to save each time the Pirates score during the upcoming three-game series in San Francisco.

The popular fan-value promotion is returning for a second time in 2014 as fans had the opportunity to purchase tickets for as low as $14 on June 9 through June 12 thanks to "You Score as the Bucs Score." The Pirates scored a total of 16 runs in a three-game series in San Diego on June 2-4.

Now for every run the Pirates score during the three-game series in San Francisco on July 28-30, fans will receive one dollar off the purchase price of Lower Outfield Box and Outfield Box seats for each game during the three-game series vs. the Miami Marlins at PNC Park on Tuesday, August 5 through Thursday, August 7. The regular advance purchase price for Lower Outfield Box seats is $35, while Outfield Box seats are $30, so if the Pirates score 15 runs this week in San Francisco, individual tickets will be made available for just $20 per game in the Lower Outfield Box section and $15 in the Outfield Box section throughout the three-game series at PNC Park.

Games eligible for discount:

Tuesday, August 5 vs. Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)

Wednesday, August 6 vs. Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)

Thursday, August 7 vs. Miami Marlins (7:05 p.m.)

The promotion will take place during the three games in San Francisco from Monday, July 28 through Wednesday, July 30 and ticket prices will be updated following each game at pirates.com/howmanyruns. Discounted tickets will go on sale approximately 30 minutes following the end of the July 30 game at pirates.com/howmanyruns or by calling 1-877-893-2827, and also will be available for purchase at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, at the PNC Park box office. The promotion will run as long as supplies last.

All three games of the Padres series in San Francisco will be televised on ROOT SPORTS and can be heard on SPORTSRADIO 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh and the Pirates Radio Network.
