Puig's MRI on hamstring set for Monday

DENVER -- Yasiel Puig will have an MRI on his injured left hamstring on Monday, not Sunday as Dodgers manager Don Mattingly originally said.

Puig reinjured the leg on Friday while running out a ground ball while on a rehab assignment for Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga. Mattingly said he misspoke when he said on Saturday that the test would be done Sunday.

Regardless, there is no target return date for the outfielder, who was eligible to be activated on Sunday.
