Rays host Mets, Braves in interleague action

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Rays open up a five-game homestand against National League East opponents this Friday at Tropicana Field. The Rays take on the New York Mets (August 7-9) in a three game set before a pair of games against the Atlanta Braves (August 11-12).

When gates open prior to Friday night's 7:10 p.m. game, all women will receive a DJ Kitty Face Bag presented by Hooters, while supplies last.

Before Saturday's 6:10 p.m. matchup, all fans will receive a Rays Fedora, while supplies last.

U.S. Army General Joseph L. Votel, Commander of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is scheduled to throw out Saturday's ceremonial first pitch.

All kids 14 and under will receive a Raymond Soap Dispenser presented by ADVANTICA before Sunday's 1:10 p.m. series finale, while supplies last. Also on Sunday, Raymond will host his FUR-ternity-mascots from around the country who will mingle and meet with families in the concourses during the game.

After an off day on Monday, the Rays return to Tropicana Field for the first of two 7:10 p.m. games against the visiting Braves before heading back out on the road.

FAMILY FUN DAY-Every Rays Sunday home game features free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of free activities for kids on the concourse.

GATES OPEN-Monday through Thursday, one-and-a-half hours prior to game time; Friday through Sunday, two hours prior to game time.
