Rays host Seattle, Toronto in six-game 'stand

Highlights Include $2 Kids Night, Rays Lunchbox Giveaway and Postgame Concerts by OneRepublic and Victoria Justice

ST. PETERSBURG, FL-Following a brief West Coast swing, the Tampa Bay Rays return to Tropicana Field to host the Seattle Mariners (August 13-15) in a three-game series before meeting American League East opponent the Toronto Blue Jays (August 16-18) in a weekend set.

The Rays and Mariners will meet for the first time this season on Tuesday, August 13 at 7:10 p.m. For this game and all remaining Tuesday home games, the Tampa Bay Times will offer buy two, get two free outfield seats. This offer is available online through raysbaseball.com via coupons that will be appearing regularly in the Times.

Wednesday's Rays-Mariners game marks the return of $2 Kids Night at Tropicana Field. With the purchase of one full-priced adult ticket to the 7:10 p.m. game, fans can purchase up to three tickets for kids ages 2-14 for just $2 each in selected seating categories while supplies last. This advanced sale offer is available online through raysbaseball.com. Free parking is also available on Wednesday for cars with four or more passengers.

Along with $2 Kids Night and the Times Two for Tuesday deal, the Rays have also announced several other ticket specials to encourage fans to attend "One More Game." In partnership with WDAE 620 AM/95.3 FM, the Rays announced 1,000 lower level seats at Tropicana Field will be available online through raysbaseball.com for $9.53 for every remaining home game this season. 

During the weekend series vs. Toronto, the only way to get a special edition Rays Welcome Mat is by purchasing a Tampa Bay Times Ticket. Following Saturday's 7:10 p.m. game, OneRepublic will take the stage at Tropicana Field. OneRepublic took the world by storm in 2007 with their debut release, Dreaming Out Loud. The album included the smash single "Apologize," which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and, along with the second single "Stop And Stare," propelled the album to platinum-plus sales and a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. OneRepublic released their sophomore set, Waking Up, in 2009 and the band has seen three singles-"All The Right Moves," "Secrets," and "Good Life" -top the radio charts. OneRepublic's latest album, Native, was released March 26, 2013, on Mosley Music Group/Interscope Records and features the album's first single, "If I Lose Myself."

Prior to the Rays-Blue Jays 1:40 p.m. game on Sunday, August 18, kids 14 and under will receive a special Rays Lunchbox presented by Sweetbay Supermarket while supplies last. 

Also during that game, the Rays will host the third and final Bark in the Park event of 2013. A special seating area is reserved for dog owners and their pets, and the tbt* Party Deck will turn into the "Dog Zone," with product samples and activities for both dogs and their owners.

During Bark in the Park, the Rays Wives will hold a pet food drive to benefit the Pet Pal Animal Shelter. The Rays Wives will be collecting both dog and cat food to assist the shelter's effort to give every pet a nutritious meal. Pet Pal Animal Shelter dogs and cats are fed Science Diet to maintain healthy and balanced digestion while they are in the shelter.

Following Sunday's game, Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice will perform at Tropicana Field.   Justice began her acting career at the age of 10 and gained fame as a star of the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 and later her own hit TV show, Victorious. Justice's vocal talents are highlighted on the show's soundtracks Victorious, Victorious 2.0 and Victorious 3.0 as well as the show's theme song, "Make it Shine." The first season's soundtrack, Victorious, was released on August 2, 2011 and reached number five on the Billboard 200 Chart. 

TAMPA BAY TIMES FAMILY FUN DAY-Every Rays Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of activities for kids on the concourse, all now free courtesy of the Tampa Bay Times. On Sunday, August 18, there will be no Kids Run the Bases and Wiffle Ball Home Run Derby due to the postgame concert.
