Red Sox sign eleven additional players selected in 2014 June draft

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Red Sox have signed eleven additional players selected in the 2014 June Draft. Director of Amateur Scouting Amiel Sawdaye made the announcement.

These signings include right-handed pitcher Reed Reilly (7^th round), catcher Ben Moore (8^th round), outfielder Cole Sturgeon (10^th round), catcher Jordan Procyshen (14^th round), centerfielder Trenton Kemp (15^th round), left-handed pitcher Michael Gunn (16^th round), shortstop Jeremy Rivera-Valera (17^th round), catcher Devon Fisher (20^th round), first baseman Francisco Tellez (24^th round), right-handed pitcher Ryan Harris (26^th round), and right-handed pitcher Taylor Nunez (27^th round).

In all, 29 of the 41 players selected by Boston in the 2014 June Draft have been signed to contracts, including each of their top nine selections. The club has also signed 10 of its 11 picks within the top 10 rounds, as well as 20 of its top 21 selections.
