Reds, Nats to make up rainout Sept. 28

Monday matinee will be DC's last home game of regular season

WASHINGTON -- After a sustained downpour rained out their July 8 meeting, the Nationals and Reds will make up the game on Sept. 28 at 3:05 p.m. ET at Nationals Park.

The final Monday of the regular season had been scheduled to be Washington's last off-day, but the rescheduled game creates a string of 10 games in 10 days to wrap up the 2015 campaign. It will be the last of four straight at Nationals Park and the final home game of the season. From there, the Nationals will head to Atlanta before wrapping up their season against the Mets in New York.

The Nats are winless in five meetings with Cincinnati this season. They've been outscored, 29-11, in the season series.
