Cozart scratched with sore left wrist

Negron inserted into starting lineup

CNCINNATI -- Reds shortstop Zack Cozart was scratched from Monday's series-opening lineup against the Braves with a return of a sore left wrist. Kristopher Negron was inserted into the lineup to replace Cozart.

Cozart missed all three games last week at Pittsburgh with a sore left wrist and bruised right index finger. On May 3 at Atlanta, he was hit on the wrist by a Julio Teheran fastball and took a grounder off of his hand later in the game.

After returning to the lineup on Saturday, Cozart went 5-for-10 in three games, including a game-tying two-run double in the top of the ninth vs. the White Sox in what would be a 4-3 Reds loss.
