Rockies activate C Wilin Rosario from the 15-day disabled list

The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has activated catcher Wilin Rosario (left wrist inflammation) from the 15-day disabled list. Rosario will be available for today's Rockies vs. Padres game at Coors Field (2:10 p.m. MDT).

Rosario, 25, was placed on the disabled list on August 27 (retroactive to August 23) after hitting .248 (82-for-331) with 20 doubles, 10 home runs, 43 RBI and 35 runs in 91 games for Colorado. Rosario has spent his entire professional career as a Rockie since signing a contract as a non-drafted free agent on February 13, 2006. In four Major League seasons, Rosario has hit .269 (351-for-1230) with 64 doubles, 62 home runs, 201 RBI and 171 runs scored over 345 games. The native of Bonao, Dominican Republic is the Rockies all-time leader in home runs by a catcher (59) in club history.

The Rockies currently have a full 40-man roster.
