Morneau leaves game in 8th because of dizziness
ANAHEIM -- Rockies first baseman Justin Morneau had to come out of Wednesday night's,2-1, 11-inning loss to the Angels in the bottom of the eighth because he felt dizziness.
"After he dove [in the seventh], he said he felt a little dizzy," bench coach and fill-in manager Tom Runnells said. "I think he was smart. He wasn't sure of his ability to help the team at the time. I think he'll be fine."
Morneau, who missed half the 2010 season with the Twins because of a concussion, struck out swinging in the top of the eighth before Daniel Descalso replaced him defensively.
