Rockies of Michael Cuddyer activated from 15-day DL

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has activated outfielder Michael Cuddyer from the 15-day disabled list. Cuddyer will be available for tonight's game vs. San Francisco (8:15 p.m. MDT) at AT&T Park.

Cuddyer, 34, began the season batting .319 (38-for-119) in 31 games with 8 doubles 1 triple, 7 home runs, 23 RBI and a .963 OPS (.383 OBP, .580 SLG) before suffering an inflamed cervical disc. Cuddyer was among the National League leaders in batting average, home runs, OPS, slugging percentage and extra-base hits before being placed on the disabled list. The 2013 season represents Cuddyer's 13th in Major League Baseball and he is a career .319 hitter (1237-for-4549) with 277 doubles, 38 triples, 164 home runs and 661 RBI in 1,271 career games.

The Rockies currently have 39 players on the 40-man roster.
