Royals add RHP Johnny Cueto to 25-man roster
Designate Joe Blanton for assignment
The Kansas City Royals announced today that right-handed pitcher Johnny Cueto has officially joined the club and will be in uniform (#47) for tonight's game against the Cleveland Indians at 6:10 p.m. CT. In a corresponding roster move, the Royals have designated right-handed pitcher Joe Blanton for assignment.
With this move, the Royals have 38 players on their 40-man roster.
