Royals game to air locally on Spanish radio

Broadcast will highlight club's Viva Los Reales celebration on July 25

The Kansas City Royals, in conjunction with KDTD 1340 AM La Grande/Reyes Media Group, will air a Spanish-language radio broadcast of the game on July 25 when they host the Houston Astros on KDTD 1340 AM La Grande. The broadcast will be part of several elements during the Viva Los Reales event to salute Hispanic Heritage. Both clubs will be wearing special jerseys featuring their respective Spanish team names. In addition, there will be a variety of pregame entertainment elements in the Outfield Experience.

Royals Hall of Famer Cookie Rojas will join Houston Astros Spanish broadcasters Francisco Romero and Alex Trevino to call the game at 6:10 p.m. The pregame show will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the broadcast will simulcast in the Houston market.
