The Naturals lost a second straight at Frisco. Starter J.C. Sulbaran held the RoughRiders to one run, five hits and no walks over five innings while striking out three. Frisco broke the game open with five runs in the sixth. Former Wichita State Shocker Dusty Coleman notched three hits, boosting his average to .412 (7-for-17).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (2-3)

Wilmington lost at Carolina on a walk-off single. Starter Luis Rico fanned nine Mudcats over four-plus innings, allowing three runs (two earned). Yender Caramo held Carolina scoreless from the fifth through the eighth, though he ultimately took the loss. Bubba Starling had a big night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI. MLB.com's 13th-ranked Royals prospect, Starling is batting .353 (6-for-17). No. 16 prospect Dominique Taylor added two hits and an RBI, raising his average to .389 (7-for-18). No. 19 prospect Ramon Torres notched two hits and a run scored while lifting his average to .381 (8-for-21).

The Legends waited out a rain delay of one hour, 28 minutes, then overcame eight defensive errors in a win at Greenville. Lexington scored six in the fourth and two in the fifth. Ryan O'Hearn posted three hits, including a two-run homer. Alfredo Escalera and Wander Franco added two RBIs apiece. Ashton Goudeau won in relief, fanning four over two innings.
