Omaha Storm Chasers (6-7)

The Storm Chasers dropped to 1-1 in the four-game set. John Lamb yielded three homers over six innings, accounting for four runs. Casey Coleman made his first appearance with Omaha, allowing a run in two innings. Francisco Pena hit his second home run in as many nights.

NW Arkansas Naturals (2-11)

The Naturals were held to two hits on the night, with top Rockies prospect Jon Gray working the first 5 2/3 innings. Sam Selman allowed three runs, six hits and three walks over 4 2/3 innings. The lefty is ranked 13th among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Lane Adams recorded a double and Jared Schlehuber added a single. Cheslor Cuthbert walked three times in four plate appearances. The third baseman is ranked 20th on MLB.com's list of Royals prospects.

Wilmington split a pair at Lynchburg. Miguel Almonte, KC's number six prospect, was terrific in game one. The righty fanned seven while allowing just one hit and two walks over six scoreless innings. Terrance Gore, Jack Lopez and Daniel Rockett drove in two runs apiece. No. 3 prospect Raul Mondesi was 3-for-4 with a run in the nightcap.

Lexington Legends (7-7)

Rome 4, Lexington 3 (11 innings)

HR: None

Rome's Daniel Carroll delivered a walk-off single in the 11th, handing Lexington a second straight loss. Legends starter Matt Tenuta limited the Braves to one run, four hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. Mauricio Ramos was 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI triple. Chad Johnson added two hits, a walk and a run.
