Saturday's game at Werner Park was postponed due to rain. A doubleheader is scheduled for Sunday, with Game 1 set for a 2:05 p.m. CT start. Clayton Mortensen (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will start Game 1 and Casey Coleman (0-0, 3.38) is slated for the second contest.

Brandon Finnegan and Andy Ferguson combined on a four-hit shutout in the rubber game vs. Midland. Finnegan, ranked fourth among Royals prospects by MLB.com, allowed one hit and three walks with three strikeouts over four innings. Ferguson followed with seven K's over five innings, scattering three hits and three walks. Terrance Gore was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and a run. Dusty Coleman added two RBIs. The Naturals host Frisco (Rangers) on Sunday.

Lexington rallied late before falling short at home. West Virginia built an 8-1 lead with three in the third and five in the sixth. Corey Toups hit a grand slam in the ninth, with Lexington stranding the potential tying run at second. Alfredo Escalera led the Legends with three hits.
