Omaha swept a doubleheader vs. New Orleans. The opener went 11 innings, with Francisco Pena scoring the winning run on a wild pitch. Jose Martinez hit a solo homer and Moises Sierra posted three hits plus an RBI. Luke Hochevar made a rehab appearance, allowing a solo home run in the first. Louis Coleman tossed 3.0 scoreless frames for the win. The nightcap went the scheduled seven innings, with Clayton Mortensen (5.0 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 7 SO) earning his second win. Omaha broke a 1-1 tie with a five-run fifth. Whit Merrifield doubled twice and scored two runs.

Northwest Arkansas lost game one vs. Frisco. The RoughRiders built a 7-0 lead before Alex Liddi hit a three-run homer for the Naturals. Jorge Bonifacio and Balbino Fuenmayor joined Liddi with two hits apiece. Starter J.C. Sulbaran fanned seven while allowing five runs over 5.0 innings.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (6-4)

Wilmington 4, Frederick 3

Wilmington won a second straight game by a 4-3 count. Bubba Starling's solo shot tied the contest in the seventh, with Robert Pehl's producing a go-ahead sac fly RBI in the eighth. Starling finished 3-for-4, lifting his average to .361 (13-for-36), second in the league. Yender Caramo (5.2 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO) made the start, with Luis Rico (3.2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO) winning in relief.

West Virginia at Lexington - Postponed due to rain

Rain washed away Lexington's finale vs. West Virginia. The game will be made up when the Legends visit the Power next weekend.
