Omaha Storm Chasers (10-13)

New Orleans 4, Omaha 2

The Storm Chasers were swept in a four-game set at New Orleans. John Lamb turned in a quality start, striking out seven while yielding three runs, four hits and two walks over 6.0 innings. Tim Collins made his second rehab appearance, striking out two in a scoreless eighth. Melky Mesa and Francisco Pena hit back-to-back homers in the fourth. Pena took over the team lead in home runs with his has fifth in 51 at bats.

NW Arkansas Naturals (8-15)

Tulsa 5, Northwest Arkansas 1
LP: Tim Melville (0-1)
HR: Justin Trapp (2)

The four-game series between Tulsa and Northwest Arkansas moved to Springdale, with the road team winning for a third straight day. Tim Melville tossed a season-high 7.0 innings, striking out four while allowing five runs (two earned), five hits and a walk. The Naturals scored on Justin Trapp's homer in the fifth. Jared Schlehuber led Northwest Arkansas with three hits.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-13)

Myrtle Beach 5, Wilmington 2

The Blue Rocks dropped to 1-1 in a four-game set at home. Daniel Stumpf recorded nine strikeouts over 4.1 innings, allowing three runs, nine hits and a walk. Raul Mondesi was 2-for-5 with an RBI triple and a run scored. KC's number three prospect, the 18-year old Mondesi is batting .299 (23-for-77). Terrance Gore scored a run and stole his eighth base in as many attempts.

Lexington Legends (11-13)

Greenville 21, Lexington 6

HR: None

Lexington lost a slugfest as the Drive plated six in the first and led wire-to-wire. The Legends recorded 14 hits, with each starter posting at least one. Humberto Arteaga posted three RBI. Elier Hernandez, Chad Johnson and Frank Schwindel all had two hits plus an RBI. Arteaga is ranked 19th among Royals prospects while Hernandez is 11th.
