Omaha Storm Chasers (10-14)

The Storm Chasers dropped game one of the I-80 Series in Des Moines. Sugar Ray Marimon lost for the first time in Triple-A, allowing five runs (four earned) while striking out two over 5.0 innings. He entered with just two runs allowed over 21.1 combined innings with Northwest Arkansas and Omaha. Francisco Pena hit his team-leading sixth home run and second in as many days. Royals number 16 prospect Christian Colon was 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a double and a walk.

NW Arkansas Naturals (8-16)

The Naturals finished 2-2 in a home-and-home series, with the road team winning each game. Tulsa scored all four runs in the first off of Sam Selman (4.0 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO, 2 HR). Top Colorado prospect Jon Gray held the Naturals scoreless over 5.1 innings. Juan Graterol was 2-for-4 with a double and Lane Adams recorded a sac fly RBI.

2013 supplemental pick and Royals number five prospect Sean Manaea earned his first professional win, striking out eight while holding the Pelicans to a run, four hits and a walk over 5.0 innings. Mark Peterson tossed 4.0 perfect innings in relief for his fourth save. The Blue Rocks drew eight walks, including four in a row in the fifth as Hunter Dozier recorded an RBI. Dozier is ranked seventh among Royals prospects by MLB.com.

Lexington Legends (11-13)

The entire South Atlantic League had Monday off. Lexington hosts Lakewood (Phillies) tonight.
