Omaha Storm Chasers (10-14)

Omaha at Iowa - Postponed due to rain

Rain in Des Moines postponed the Storm Chasers and I-Cubs for a second straight day. A doubleheader is scheduled for Thursday, with game one to begin at 10 a.m. P. J. Walters is slated for game one and Brett Tomko will take the mound for game two.

HR: Cheslor Cuthbert 2 (2, 3)

Cheslor Cuthbert hit a pair of homers to lead Northwest Arkansas past Springfield. Cuthbert's two-run blast in the third put the Naturals ahead to stay at 4-2. He added a solo shot in the fifth. Cuthbert is ranked 20th among Royals prospects by MLB.com. Whit Merrifield added two hits, two walks and a run. Andrew Triggs earned a relief win, scattering three hits over 3.2 scoreless innings. He has a 1.00 ERA on the year (2 ER in 18.0 IP).

Wilmington Blue Rocks (10-13)

The Blue Rocks were off on Wednesday. They visit Carolina (Indians) tonight, with sixth-ranked Royals prospect Miguel Almonte scheduled to start.

Lexington Legends (11-14)

Lakewood at Lexington - Postponed due to rain

The Legends were postponed at home. A pair of seven-inning games are slated for Thursday, beginning at 5:05 Eastern.
